Based in Sydney, Australia, Ceinwen works within a broad range of formats, form long-form features and series to commercials and video art.

Ceinwen Berry has been working in the film industry for a 17+ years. She holds a Masters in Drama Editing from the Australian Film, Television and Radio School (AFTRS) and a BA in Cinema Studies and Cultural Studies from the University of Melbourne. She studied at the University of Toronto, department of Cinema Studies, as part of an international exchange program.

Ceinwen has been mentored by a number of notable Australian filmmakers including editors Marcus D'Arcy (Boy Swallows Universe, Babe Pig in the City), Veronika Jenet ASE (The Piano, Rabbit Proof Fence) and producer Andrew Mason (The Water Diviner, The Matrix, Boy Swallows Universe).

Ceinwen has extensive experience in feature film post production and have worked across most formats including features, documentaries, series television, commercials and video art. She cuts what she can, when she can, but is always driven by story and the chance to collaborate with other creatives.

Now a mother of two children, she still maintains her editing practice but has shifted focus to include writing and more collaborative visual work.
